Pursuing EMT training in Los Angeles to work towards a career as an emergency medical technician is a smart choice. Due to massive population of the city of Los Angeles, EMTs are constantly in demand, making it a perfect career choice. Now, it’s important to keep in mind that due to the fact that EMT certification regulations in the United States are set at the state level, the general requirements of getting your EMT certification in Los Angeles is the same as it would be, for example, in Orange County. The first step is to make sure you meet the requirements in order to enroll in EMT classes in Los Angeles. The requirements are as follow:

  • You must be 18 years old
  • You must have a high school diploma, or a GED
  • Must have a California State driver’s license
